Quest for Saraswati!

The river Saraswati has been named in the Rig Veda for a dozen of times.It was then considered as the source of water and deity. The recent initiative by the government may bring out the following out of this quest:
1. Based upon the scarcity of water in India this project will interlink the rivers of India and divert waters from surplus areas to those wracked by droughts.
2.If the river is discovered then there will be no re-enactment of the Saraswati based civilization development.
3.It discovery will reveal the best locations to track ground water.
4.It may add up the benefits of flood control and irrigation.
5.The people may also dig up some Saraswati related celebration as like the Kumbh Mela.
6.It may end up the question of many Observers regarding the existence of the river.
7.The site of Kumbh Mela is said to be Prayag (Allahabad) where the Triveni Sangam occurs due to the confluence of all the rivers. But wherever the sangama occurs a third river Guptavahani is imagined and given a name.

Keeping India Clean!

Cleanliness is part of our Indian culture and we need to maintain that culture by some keeping our surroundings clean. This can be achieved by the following process:

1) Don't Litter, throw waste in dustbin only.
2) Don't encourage spitting, immediately condemn people if found doing so.
3) Avoid usage of Plastic covers, plastic disposables. Carry a bag with you when you go for shopping, teach the people around you the same.
4) Teach Children about Cleanliness and Sanitation.
5) Plant trees around your house.
6) Separate Dry waste and wet waste in your house, ease the work of municipality workers.
7) If possible join any of the NGOs working in your area towards cleaning of India. If not atleast contribute to it in someway.
8) Avoid personal transport whenever possible. Encourage Car Pooling if you can't avoid. Much better you can use Public transportation.
9) Pool money along with your area mates and install large sized dustbins in the places where littering is done on the road or open place.

Adaption Strategies to Global warming!

The idea of environment conservation is one the major teachings in our Indian history. But with the passage of time it seems to vanishing in the recent years which the main cause of global warming, Due to this India is not effected by those droughts flood also it economy is affected.
                   India is a land of Agarian and many cultivators are depended various factors- Period  of rainfall,amount of rainfall etc. If any of this goes wrong then the system of cultivation is jeopardized.But focus are given on large scale infrastructure rather than this climatic irregularities.
                  The National Action Plan climate change has provided eight missions to overcome this problem.The use of electric and battery operated vehicles extraction of energy from urban and rural waste,replacement of cheap plastics with Eco friendly plastics.Drought-proofing measure by water storage and rain harvesting during scarcity of water,Smoke cleaning techniques in vehicles spread of knowledge among localities regarding Biological diversity conversation Recycling of fossil fuel for conservation of minerals and the adaption of responsibility by various NGOs in formulating policies, The Chipko Andolan movement bear testimony that Indian are aware of protecting their habitat.



UNLESS WE DEVELOP A GREEN TECHNOLOGY WE CANT ATTAIN SUSTAINABLE DEVOLOPMENT.
